Sydney School of Piping and Drumming

The Sydney School of Piping and Drumming offers courses for beginners through to experienced players. Instruction is open to any member of any pipe band or drum corps.

Fee Structure: Lesson fees for attending the Sydney School of Piping and Drumming are structured in the following manner:

Beginners Classes: (Max 3 students) $11 per hour (inc GST). These classes are designed for people beginning to learn or for Elementary Graded players wishing to improve their basic technique and musical theory knowledge. Lessons in this group situation are covered for pipers, snare drummers and tenor drummers.

These lessons are available on a Monday evening between 4-8pm.

One to One lessons: are available for experienced players or beginners wishing to have personalised instruction. These lessons are available for pipers covering Ceol Beag and Ceol Mor and all aspects of tenor or snare drumming

Fees: $16.50 per half hour lesson (inc GST) or $27.50 for 1 hour lesson. Lessons are booked and paid for in advance in blocks of four. Lesson times can be chosen by the student, dependant on tutors availability.
